Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal and business information BlueBeans Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("BlueBeans", "we", "us") collects through the BlueBeans platform, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to Buyers, Vendors, and visitors to our website and admin panel.

• Account & identity — mobile number (verified via OTP), and, if you sign in with Google, your name, email address, and profile image.
• Buyer business details — business/outlet name, city, state, pincode, and business category selections you provide during onboarding.
• Vendor business & KYC details — business name, GSTIN, PAN, business type, contact details, and verification documents (e.g. GST certificate, trade licence, FSSAI certificate) uploaded for vendor approval.
• RFQ & quote data — the requirements, items, budget, and attachments a Buyer submits in an RFQ, and the pricing, inclusions, and scope notes a Vendor submits in a quote.
• Payment data — Vendor subscription payments are processed by Razorpay; we receive confirmation and billing metadata from Razorpay but do not collect or store your full card or bank account details ourselves.
• Usage data — basic technical information (such as IP address and request metadata) used for security, rate-limiting, and diagnosing issues.

• To create and secure your account, and to verify your identity and (for Vendors) business;
• To operate the marketplace — qualifying and broadcasting RFQs to relevant Vendors, and showing Buyers the quotes they receive;
• To process Vendor subscription payments and send related receipts/invoices;
• To send OTP codes and transactional emails (e.g. application status, new leads, invoices);
• To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse of the platform; and
• To comply with legal and tax obligations, including GST invoicing.

• Between Buyers and Vendors — when an RFQ is broadcast to an eligible Vendor, that Vendor can see the RFQ's requirements. Buyer contact details are shown to a Vendor only once that Vendor is eligible to quote (subject to their subscription quota); a Vendor's quote and business details are shown to the Buyer who posted the matching RFQ.
• Service providers — we share information with the vendors that power the platform, strictly as needed to provide their service: Razorpay (payments), Resend (email delivery), MSG91 (SMS/OTP delivery), Uploadthing (file storage), Vercel and Railway (hosting/infrastructure — including a self-hosted virus-scanning service we run ourselves for vendor document uploads), and Sentry (error monitoring).
• Legal — if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
• We do not sell your personal information.

We retain account, RFQ, quote, and transaction data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes (for example, GST invoices must be retained under Indian tax law). If you delete your account, we deactivate it and end all active sessions immediately; some records may be retained where we have a legal or legitimate business reason to do so.

• You can review and update your account details from your Profile settings at any time.
• You can export a copy of your data and delete your account from Profile → Danger Zone. Deleting your account deactivates it and ends all active sessions immediately.
• You can manage certain email notification preferences from your Profile settings.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, hashed/OTP-based authentication rather than stored passwords, and automated scanning of uploaded Vendor documents for malware. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

BlueBeans uses essential cookies to keep you signed in (session authentication) and to protect the platform from abuse. We do not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

BlueBeans is a B2B platform intended for business use by adults. It is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect information from, children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page.
